THE PROJECT
THE BEGINNING
After years spent away from Chiaromonte, Giuseppe and Rosina felt the call of their place of origin and returned home. They decided to invest their time, energy, and resources into an ambitious project: the rediscovery and recognition of Guarnaccino Nero di Chiaromonte.
In 2009, they purchased a vast abandoned plot, where an old school once stood. Giuseppe, accustomed to creating and realising projects, immediately understood that this school would become not only the home for his family but also the ideal base for cultivating the vines of Guarnaccino Nero di Chiaromonte.

THE EVOLUTION
This vineyard, cultivated for generations in Chiaromonte, held a special meaning for them, but it was not yet officially recognised outside of a purely domestic context.
So, joining with other friends, they invested time and resources into the project of promoting and enhancing Guarnaccino Nero di Chiaromonte.
They began to vinify it with great care, striving to preserve its original purity and creating a selection of high-quality wines.
The company 600 Grotte was the first to vinify Guarnaccino Nero di Chiaromonte in purity, with the bottles RECEPIT and RECEPIT EL.

Evolution, projects and ambition have given life to two unique and complementary realities: Cantina 600 Grotte and Tenuta Capriccio, in the heart of Basilicata.
Cantina 600 Grotte specialises in the production of wines, while Tenuta Capriccio is the estate where the vines that give rise to our fine wines are grown. Situated on an area of 50 hectares, Tenuta Capriccio is a natural paradise with lush vineyards, fruit trees, dried fruit plants, tall trees and apiaries. This environment rich in biodiversity offers an oasis of relaxation and well-being immersed in the nature of the Pollino National Park.
